Update 10/21/10

NYC in two days :D !! I'm soo excited! That's all I have to say for now! :D

Volunteer Work :D

So last Saturday, my friend and I went to a farm to do volunteer work! Yay! At first it was FREEZING outside and the wind was so strong it actually knocked me over! Can you believe that (even though I'm  small and who doesn't weigh a lot)?? No seriously, it was so cold I thought i was going to get hypothermia!! Besides that, after we picked the gourds and little pumpkins, we went inside a barn and packed them. The gourds and little pumpkins were going to be used as decorations at a food pantry  when they served people. In the end, I was very proud of myself! I worked 3 hours in the freezing cold. Update about NYC 10/18/10

Okayyy..... I've got more information about NYC and I'm staying with my friend Olivia YAY!! This is going to be a blast (besides the work). School today was sort of long, just before Science class, i got a wave of sleepiness! I seriously thought i was going to fall asleep. But thankfully, Ms. Blind woke me up with her interesting teaching about silt, pebbles, sand and clay :) . Woah...I'm so tired! Today at recess, people were trying to guess my middle name......it took them half of recess. It wasn't because it was a hard name, it was because it was Cambodian (I'm originally from Cambodia for the people who don't know). I gotta do homework right now.........joy.

Update 10/17/10

Well... I'll be traveling to NYC for some conferences at the United Nations. Then walking around Times Square, that I'm pretty excited about. The train ride is 3 hours.....urg what am i going to do for that long! I'll be staying at a Marriott hotel (haha lucky me). So I'm told, a lot of the conferences are in the hotel....hmm. I'm waiting for some more info about the trip, Mrs. Heiser and Ms. Blind please give me more information about the trip! :)
